An Off Night on the Town

We were electricity in the night,

A spark that shined so bright.

Our lips pressing together, warm hairy thighs grazing against each other as we step in and out. Strangers in sync in motion.

The music drowning the world out.

Energy locked in, eyes staying in alignment, hands interlocked.

We stood breathless in each other’s presence as the amber light captured snapshots of your gaze. Your hazel eyes catching the light like a mystical desert haze.

A smile that hummed with joy, like warm honey had shined your face.

There I saw you. Hearts so near. Warmth so personal. A comfort seldom found.

I cried a little. Hoping this wouldn’t go away. The music grew louder, faster, and soon you dissolved in the crowd.

Here, on my own, not even footsteps hit the ground.

My own heart beats, but each day it seems to slowly fade.

And still I haven’t found, the magic I had tasted from that night on the town.
